let me take you to the real
Mallorca
Sustainable experiences guided by passionate local people
Welcome
Hi, my name is Carmen
I enjoy introducing my home to curious visitors.
I appreciate everyone have different tastes and needs when traveling. You might be looking for some insight to plan your trip, tips to avoid tourist traps, get to know local food, or just have a chat with a local person.
Do ask away!
I was born in Palma, and although I love travelling and living abroad, I settled back here 6 years ago. I've been a tour guide in England and in Spain and I currently work in a travel agency. We can chat about whatever is you are more interested about, food, beaches, mountains, history, culture, politics... You lead.
What do I offer?
I’d love to help whatever is your need, either while you are at home planning, or when you’ve already decided to visit Mallorca.
This island is gorgeous but it’s also a busy tourism destination. I’d be super happy to guide you to the real Mallorca.
Visit Palma with a local
First day here? We can visit the old town based on your preferences. If you'd prefer me choosing the route we'll do a highlights including the most important sites (e.g. Palma Town Hall, Cathedral, La Lonja, Born, modernist building examples) and chat about local culture and food. Otherwise, if you have a more specific request, we'll discuss during the booking process in order to put together a more bespoke route just for you. (Available from Feb 1, 2025)

Frequently Asked Questions
Which tours does Mallorca on foot offer?
Any! I would be happy to arrange any kind of guided visits in Mallorca, both urban cultural and food tours and walking experiences in the rural side of the island, to visit charming towns and the natural spaces.
Do you offer public group tours?
Mallorca on foot works entirely with private tours.
What's the cancellation policy for your tours?
I can offer free cancellation up to 48 hours prior for my tours, minus bank fees. Pre-booked entrance tickets would be non-refundable, and any add-on service arranged by a different partner (i.e. transportation) may have a different cancellation policy. I aim to offer as much flexibility as possible. If in doubt, please ask.
Do you offer transportation?
If you require it, I can certainly quote private transportation with a local trusted provider. Please bear in mind private car transfers in Mallorca will increase the price notably. If you are happy to use public transport, Mallorca has an excellent buses fleet and trains, we can arrange a tour than can be easily done with public transport - let me know and we'll make it even more sustainable!
Do you offer food tours and tastings?
Again here, I would be more than happy to quote the best food tastings - because we're all foodies!
I would also be happy to book bars and restaurants along with our tour route, and leave the bill to be payable on site, so you may order whatever feels more appealing on the day.
